Tri-City Custom Upfitters Wins Diamond in Cambridge Readers' Choice Awards 2026
Oct 27, 2026
Cambridge-based automotive upfitting business receives Diamond recognition in the Best Auto Parts & Accessories category, following three CommunityVotes Platinum awards earlier in 2026.
Cambridge, Ontario Oct 26, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Tri-City Custom Upfitters has received the Diamond Award for Best Auto Parts & Accessories in the 2026 Cambridge Readers' Choice Awards, recognizing the Cambridge business in the automotive category.
The award acknowledges Tri-City Custom Upfitters' presence in the local automotive accessories and vehicle customization market. The company provides equipment, accessories, and installation services for commercial vans, trucks, and fleet vehicles.
Diamond is the highest recognition level displayed in the Readers' Choice results.
For owner Chad Greenlee and the Tri-City Custom Upfitters team, the award provides an opportunity to thank customers and local businesses that have supported the company.
Automotive Accessories and Commercial Vehicle Upfitting
Located at 2411 Eagle Street North in Cambridge, Tri-City Custom Upfitters specializes in helping businesses and vehicle owners equip trucks and commercial vans for their intended use.
Its services include commercial van upfitting, truck accessories, fleet vehicle equipment, spray-on bedliners, and safety lighting.
Commercial vehicles often require additional equipment to support daily operations. Contractors, service technicians, delivery operators, and fleet managers may need shelving, storage systems, cargo management equipment, or specialized accessories suited to their work.
Tri-City Custom Upfitters works with customers to identify appropriate vehicle solutions based on the type of vehicle, its intended use, and the equipment required.
The company's services also extend to truck owners seeking practical accessories and protective applications for their vehicles.
Spray-on bedliners, for example, can help protect truck beds from wear associated with regular use. Other accessories may improve organization, storage, visibility, or access to equipment.
Through these services, Tri-City Custom Upfitters supports both individual vehicle owners and businesses operating multiple vehicles.
Recognition from the Cambridge Community
The 2026 Readers' Choice Diamond award follows three Platinum awards received by Tri-City Custom Upfitters in CommunityVotes Cambridge earlier this year.
The company earned Platinum recognition in the following categories:
-
Car Parts and Accessories
-
Truck Accessories
-
Used Parts and Accessories
CommunityVotes and Readers' Choice are separate community recognition programs, each offering residents an opportunity to acknowledge businesses operating in their area.
Together, the awards reflect recognition across several categories connected to Tri-City Custom Upfitters' automotive products and services.
Proposed statement from owner Chad Greenlee:
"We appreciate the support of our customers and the Cambridge community. Our work is about helping people get the equipment and accessories they need for their vehicles, whether that is one truck or an entire business fleet. Receiving this recognition is meaningful to our team, and we are grateful to everyone who supported us."
Serving Cambridge and Surrounding Communities
Tri-City Custom Upfitters serves customers from Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, and surrounding areas.
For commercial customers, vehicle upfitting can involve planning around the equipment carried, the work performed, and the way employees use their vehicles throughout the day.
A properly organized commercial van or truck can help workers access tools and materials while supporting more efficient day-to-day operations.
For individual truck owners, selecting appropriate accessories may depend on vehicle compatibility, intended use, and personal preferences.
Tri-City Custom Upfitters continues to focus on practical product selection, installation, and customer service across its automotive accessory and upfitting operations.
The company views its Diamond award as an opportunity to recognize the customers and community members who have contributed to its continued work in Cambridge.
