Autism Mastery Course has added environmental and chemical toxicity information to its autism treatment training course. Autism Mastery Course was designed for physicians and health care professionals to learn to treat children on the Autism-Spectrum using biomedical intervention.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that about 1 in 68 children in the United States is affected with Autism. Other studies show an even higher rate. The hard truth is there are simply not enough physicians or health care workers with the experience and knowledge to help so many children diagnosed on the Autism-Spectrum. One of the biggest triggers has been found to be exposure to environmental and/or chemical toxicity.

Dr. Kurt Woeller, renowned autism treatment specialist with over 20 years of clinical experience, has created an online Autism Mastery Course, that will fast track health care workers to become autism treatment specialists in about 16 weeks. The next course starts on January 23, 2018.

“I am very excited about the success of the Autism Mastery Course for physicians and other health care practitioners,” says Dr. Woeller. “This edition of the course will also include new information on the links between environmental and chemical toxicity and autism.”

The autism treatment training course attendees give glowing testimonials. “This course has been great!! Every week, I am adding something new to our practice because of this class. Our practice initially worked with neuro feedback and behavioral health, but since starting the course, we have certainly implemented the integrative health model, with great success,” said Todd R, a doctor practicing in Chicago.

The Autism Mastery Course features clinically relevant, practical, and time efficient material for any health practitioner currently working with the special needs community, or, for those who want to gain knowledge about helping this underserved population of people.

The 16 week course consists of weekly live webinars and live Q & A sessions that will also be recorded and available to those who can’t attend the live events. In addition, the course includes downloadable forms to help physicians set up patient charts and develop treatment programs.

One of the key elements to the Autism Mastery course is that the participants will also have access to a private online forum run by Dr. Woeller, where they can interact, ask questions, and have Dr. Woeller mentor them while they learn.

The course will focus on the complexities of autism, providing an in depth knowledge regarding biomedical intervention for autism-spectrum disorders that would normally take years of training and practice to obtain. “I wish there would have been a course like this when I was starting,” says Dr. Woeller, “it would have shaved years off my learning curve!”

While the Autism Mastery Course was created with the health care practitioner in mind, the course is also open to experienced autism parents who would like to further understand how various autism treatments can help improve their children’s health.

Melted nuclear fuel seen inside second Fukushima reactor

Jan 23, 2018

TOKYO — The operator of Japan's crippled Fukushima nuclear plant said Friday that a long telescopic probe successfully captured images of what is most likely melted fuel inside one of its three damaged reactors, providing limited but crucial information for its cleanup. Tokyo Electric Power Co. said the fishing rod-like device carrying a camera went deep into the plant's Unit 2 primary containment vessel. The images indicated that at least part of the fuel had breached the core, falling to the vessel's floor, TEPCO spokesman Takahiro Kimoto said. "There is so much that we still haven't seen," Kimoto told reporters....

Niche tours of hidden Tokyo reveal grit and history

Jan 23, 2018

TOKYO — I've always resisted the idea of taking a guided tour on my annual visits to Japan. My interests are pretty niche and I know Tokyo well enough that friends there have trouble suggesting new things to see. This year I decided to try two guides offering personalized tours. One, Lee Chapman , is a photographer who specializes in older neighborhoods. The other, Mark Hobold, writes a history blog called Japan This ! that is sometimes too geeky even for me. Chapman says he takes guests to "an interesting, slightly grittier side of Tokyo that you never see in...

Jan 23, 2018

TOKYO — North Korea's state-run media say U.S. President Donald Trump's tweet about having a bigger nuclear button than leader Kim Jong Un's is the "spasm of a lunatic." Rodong Sinmun, the ruling party newspaper, lashed out at Trump in a commentary on Tuesday that took issue with the U.S. commander in chief's Jan. 3 tweet that "I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!" A summary of the commentary by North Korea's official news agency described the tweet as "the spasm of a lunatic." "The...

China rebukes Zara, Delta for calling Taiwan 'country'

Jan 23, 2018

BEIJING — Chinese regulators rebuked fashion brand Zara, Delta Air Lines and medical device maker Medtronic on Friday for calling Taiwan a country on their websites in a fresh show of Beijing's acute sensitivity about the self-ruled island. Zara, Delta and Medtronic were ordered to remove the "illegal content" and make public apologies, airline and internet regulators said. Other airlines were ordered to check their own websites. Taiwan and the mainland split in 1949 after a civil war but the Communist Beijing government claims the island as its territory. It regularly lashes out at publishers of books, maps or other...

The CEO of Marriott International Inc., Arne Sorenson, said in a statement the company "respects and supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of China."
